This award celebrates projects that creatively repurpose existing buildings or spaces, giving them new life while maintaining their original character and significance. The recipient of this award demonstrates exceptional innovation in transforming underutilized or obsolete properties into vibrant, functional assets. Their work exemplifies sustainable development, respects the history of the site, and contributes to the revitalization of the surrounding community.
Requirements
The 2025 VIBI Awards are open to all UDI-CR Members in good standing. To be eligible, nominees must have held UDI-CR membership for a minimum of six (6) months at the time of submission. Submissions can be self-nominated or independently nominated. Projects must not have won a VIBI Award in previous years.
Qualifying Period: Projects must have achieved occupancy between April 1, 2023, and April 1, 2025.
